The borrowing period for text books (which you can find at the institution libraries but not at the main library) is always 14 days. A late fee will be charged if you don’t return the book on time. If nobody is queued for the book, you can renew the loan up to 10 times.
The borrowing period for other books is at least 4 weeks. If nobody is queued for the book, the loan is automatically renewed 5 times. If a library wants the book back, it will send an email to you. If you want to keep the book for longer than 5 renewals, you need to bring the book back to the library and check it out again.
