Coursebok / "Kursbok"
The borrowing period for course books (which you can find at the faculty libraries but not at the University library) is always 14 days. A late fee of 10 SEK per day will be charged if you don’t return the book on time. If nobody is queued for the book, you can renew the loan up to 10 times.
Regular loans / long loans
The borrowing period for all other books is at least 4 weeks. After a month (during which you are guaranteed to have the book) the loan is automatically renewed. A book can be renewed up to 5 times as long as nobody else requests the book. If so, you will need to return the book, but only after the first month. If a library wants the book back, it will send an email to you. If you want to keep the book for longer than 5 renewals, you need to bring the book back to the library and check it out again.
