Loans can be picked up by somebody else than the card owner. The carrier must bring the library card and ID of the owner, and their own ID. Requested books cannot be loaned on another card than the one they have been requested on.
The library card is personal and should be considered a document of value. Loss of a library card/LU-card should be reported to the libraries at Lund University immediately. The patron is responsible for all loans that are made until the loss of a card has been reported.
