Fictional works cannot be brought home when loaned (please note that this is applied to Swedish fiction and international fiction in Swedish translation). The exceptions are postgraduate students, researchers and professors at the department of literature at LU. They can bring fictional works to their office at the university (the works cannot be brought home).
Apply for permission
Permission to bring fictional works outside of the library can be applied for at UB. You need to fill out the form below. The form is then handed in at the information desk at UB. You will receive a reply by email. Please note that you cannot immediately start loaning fictional works, but must wait for a reply from UB.
Some patrons who apply for permission receive a time limit. If the time limit is reached you must renew your application.
