The amount of time you have to wait for a book you requested depends on the state of the book:

  • If the book is available on the shelf and in "magasin" or "depå" (closed stacks/depot) when you request it, you can pick it up the following working day at noon. (Except at the library of the School of Economics, they deliver from closed stacks in an hour.) If the book is located in UB Depå, the book should be available for pick up the following working day after 3 p.m. If this cannot be done, you will be contacted by staff.
  • If you request a book for pick up at another library, you should get an email when the book is ready for pick up. This usually takes 1-3 working days.
  • If the book is borrowed by another patron when you request it, you should get an email when it is ready for pick up. This depends on the patron.
